I really like this, I think it evolved with the story. Who knows, I might draw a new cover every 25 or so chapters to match the current feel. It started off pretty dark, got lighter, then went straight back to being really messed up. I think this sort of better captures where Vincent's gonna' be around the 25-50 chapter mark.  A lot of the bee imagery and stuff brings up a lot of feeling of vincent's situation, especially with the queen bee, her colony, and the destruction of personal identity of those that have literally become her nest. At like this point in the story, he's starting to break under the pressure of the job, because he realizes that he's enforcing the same rules that is opressing him and he's powerless to do anything to stop it because the second he steps out of line (Or is even suspected of stepping out of line) he knows he'll be killed by the crown.

So on one hand, he's just as disgusted (if not more, in some cases) by queen victoria as he is the people he's told to kill and he can't do anything about it so he just compartmentalizes all the guilt and trauma but actually he's much fucked in the head and is out of his mind and is beyond even trying to hide it anymore. It also goes for diederich, who was a fairly normal person until vincent roped him into this life of carnage and now they're both suffering mentally because of this job, and because of what they're forced to do (though dee theoretically could run away to a place where vincent couldn't track him down he won't do that because he loves him but he won't admit he loves him so he just says its the money but c'mon we all know the real reason) but hey, at least they have each other for support. 

It also serves as a pretty funny pun because it's Vincent Phantom*hive*... but actually it's still pretty creepy. u_u I actually started drawing this last Tuesday. It took me a long fucking time. fucking beehives. never again. But mostly it is all this other stuff. a lot of thought was put into this.
